诺和诺德的历史最早可追溯至1923年。近90年来，诺和诺德不断运用先进的生物技术完善胰岛素研究和生产手段，取得突破性进展，成为这一领域的先驱。诺和诺德率先推出长效胰岛素，预混胰岛素，高纯胰岛素，人体胰岛素和胰岛素注射笔。同时，诺和诺德又率先推出新一类的口服降糖药-诺和龙，从而极大地提高了糖尿病治疗和控制水平，改善了糖尿病人的生活质量。此外，诺和诺德还在凝血治疗、生长保健以及激素替代疗法等很多方面居世界领先地位。
诺和诺德的产品60年代初就已进入中国市场。1994年初，诺和诺德董事会通过了在中国实施战略投资的计划，在北京建立诺和诺德（中国）制药有限公司总部和生物技术研究发展中心，并在天津兴建现代化生产工厂。
诺和诺德的标志是古埃及动物Apis公牛，它被看成是掌管科学和艺术之神-Ptah的化身，象征着生命和健康。公司标志是1925年根据一尊公元前600年的古埃及青铜雕像设计的。诺和诺德公司选用Apis公牛作为标志，象征着公司继承和发扬几百年来药学家和化学家努力进取，不断探索的古老传统。
2013年，诺和诺德与“1型糖尿病之队”（Team Type 1）合作，组建了“诺和诺德之队”（Team Novo Nordisk），由自行车车手、铁人三项选手、跑步选手组成，他们均患有1型糖尿病。其中一支由17人组成的职业男子车队是世界上首支完全由糖尿病患者组成的职业自行车队，活跃在世界各大赛事中，并将于2013年9月来到中国参加环中国国际公路自行车赛。

Primary job goals

Key areas of responsibility:
In DMD team, principle responsibilities:
1)Assist in coordination, organization and facilitation in various marketing projects within insulin team
2)Assist in the analysis and effectiveness of marketing activities
