　岗位职责:
　　包括但不限于:
　　网站和微博/优酷管理：
　　• 在IFPRI新浪微博的发布信息, 完成基础的内容并定期更新，并为IFPRI中文网站的内容创作提供支持
　　• 博客和其他内容的中文写作
　　• 对于邀请博客嘉宾提供协助和建议
　　• 提供视频支持，在优酷上传选定的视频
　　• 对中国的重要研究者和利益相关者进行视频采访
　　翻译：
　　• 对日常的网站内容和中文网站委员会指定的内容进行翻译，包括新闻稿、博客、网站功能和研究者的简介
　　• 对之前由专业人员翻译的官方出版物进行审查
　　媒体关系：
　　• 建立并维护一个媒体联系信息库
　　• 提供媒体联系支持，与当地的记者建立联系并促进信息的共享
　　• 维护记者信息库
　　IFPRI的中文网站委员会：
　　• 同时在委员会任职来帮助IFPRI在中国的信息沟通工作，委员会成员由公共联系部和发展政策管理部的人员组成。
　　其他:
　　• 完成项目负责人要求的其他相关工作

　　应聘条件:
　　a) 大学学历（包括大学的应届毕业生）及以上，要求国际事务专业、国际发展专业、通信专业或相关专业；
　　b) 有一到两年工作经验者优先；
　　c) 熟练运用微软的EXCEL、数据库管理，熟悉社交软件和搜索引擎；
　　d) 具有扎实的中英文读写、听说能力（需提供英语能力证明材料）；
　　e) 能同时应对多个工作任务，并区分轻重缓急有序完成。自律，能在要求的时间内高质的完成任务；
　　f) 勤勉尽责，注重细节、学习能力强者优先；
　　g) 具有国际开发，农业政策和经济开发背景的优先

Job Title: Communication Assistant
Department: The Beijing Office of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)
Location: Beijing, China

Job Summary
The Beijing Office of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the International Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (ICARD) seek a qualified Communications Assistant to support IFPRI’s outreach activities in China. The successful candidate will report to the Program Leader of IFPRI’s Beijing Office with input from IFPRI’s Communications and Knowledge Management (CKM) Division. This is a two-year, fixed-term, renewable appointment based in Beijing.
Essential Duties
Website and Weib/Youku management
•　 Strengthen IFPRI’s institutional Sina Weibo presence, building up the site and posting on a regular basis
•　 Support content creation for IFPRI’s Chinese website
• 　Write blog posts and other web content in Chinese
• 　Assist in developing a strategy for inviting guest bloggers
• 　Provide video support
•　 Upload selected videos to Youku
•　 Conduct video interviews with key researchers and stakeholders in China

Translation
•　 Provide general web-content translation and translation of materials suggested by the Chinese Website committee—including press releases, blog posts, web features, and researchers bio pages
•　 Oversee the formal translation of official publications by professional translators

Media Relations
•　 Set up and maintain a database of media contacts
• 　Provide media relations support
•　 Build relationships and facilitate information sharing with local journalists
•　 Maintain the journalist database

IFPRI’s Chinese Website committee
• 　Serve on the committee, which includes members from IFPRI’s Communications and Knowledge Management (CKM) Division and its Development Strategy and Governance Division (DSGD), to support IFPRI communications activities in China.

Other:
• 　Perform other communication related duties/assignments that may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• 　Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, International Development, Communications, or a related field
• 　One or two years experiences preferred
• 　Fluency in Chinese and English—oral and written
• 　Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet short- and long-term deadlines
•　 Attention to detail and highly organized; self-motivated and ready to offer new ideas
• 　Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, social media tools, and search engines
• 　Knowledge of international development, agricultural policy, and economic development preferred
