Commercial Banking

We work in developed and developing markets in over 50 countries and territories. Constantly curious, our teams connect businesses to help them succeed. We have a particular focus on companies that aspire to grow internationally. You'll leverage our global connections and expertise to spot trends in world trade and identify customer opportunities.

With plenty of variety, you could be supporting customers to expand their operations or helping them use new technologies to do business with us. We will help you build the knowledge to succeed, regardless of your degree subject. With the help of senior leaders and peers, you'll develop a whole range of skills, while building on the ones that already set you apart from the competition.

Your option

Typically, 18 months, these programmes offer a range of placements enabling you to develop breadth of experience, as well as specialist expertise. With three different placements, the programmes will equip you for a Relationship Manager or product expertise role in the future.

What's next?

Through our Commercial Banking Programme you could become a Relationship Manager (connecting businesses to opportunities), Credit Manager (analysing and providing both international and domestic lending solutions), or a Global Trade and Receivables Finance Business Manager (offering services and finance for buyers and suppliers).
