I. Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for operations of analytical testing equipment in a manner which meets TÜV-SÜD quality and EHS guidelines to ensure the testing service meet the aggressive timelines with high quality; help to set-up standard operating procedure for services, communicate to relevant people and improve the existing and/or establish a new documentation system.

II. Job Responsibilities

1.Organizational:

1)Performs routine analytical chemistry activities with a moderate to high degree of independence;

2)Develop analytical methods and ensure the analytical measurements are accurate and follow approved procedures and SOP’s, compiles testing data for the preparation of reports;

3)Calibrate / validate analytical instruments with reference to the quality system;

4)Be involved in the evaluation of new laboratory procedures, tools, and measurement technologies to improve methods and/or other laboratory-related activities;

5) Able to apply basic statistics to data analysis.

2. Technical:

1)Perform routine analysis and maintain / calibrate the lab equipment;

2)Consulting of technical request from the clients, customer services group and Sales group;

3)Help to develop analytical capabilities based on business requirement;

4)Provide technical support or trainings to peers or clients;

5)Carry out the duties prescribed by various authorities as accredited representative office of several TÜV SÜD companies.

III. Job Requirements

1.College degree or above in field of chemistry, especially analytical chemistry preferred;

2.Hands-on skills for operation and maintenance of HPLC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-OES/MS, XRF, UV and other analytical instruments;

3.Experience in Quality control, process control and EHS audit;

4.Good communication skill;

5.Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit;

6.Good command of English;

7.Good understanding and fulfillment to working related targets, standards, policies, procedures and instructions;

8.Respect and safeguard company’s image, reputation and benefit;

9.Physical condition allows normal working, stable outputs and business trip as required.
