Shandong University, established in 1901, is a member university of Project 211 and Project 985, and the cradle of Chinese modern higher education as well as the important place of culture and education.

Located at Jinan, the School of Management of Shandong University was founded in 1985 and now is one of the largest schools in Shandong University. The college forms an undergraduate-master-doctor training system, the existing students are more than 6000. The School has built a complete academic team with co-operating closely between young and old, China and abroad. In the 2017 national fourth round of disciplinary assessments, the results of the business administration discipline assessment were A-. The School of Management has greater influence and higher recognition countrywide.

While upgrading the existing faculty quality, the School of Management also highly values domestic and international academic exchanges and cooperations. In recent years, the school has built close communications and cooperations with universities and colleges in the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan and South Korea, for a broad platform for teachers' scientific research, teaching and communication.
