上海纽约大学环球亚洲研究中心（Center for Global Asia, NYU Shanghai）与复旦大学亚洲研究中心（Asia Research Center, Fudan University）合作，共同推进中国的亚洲研究。因科研需要，2023年度公开招聘博士后研究人员1人，热忱欢迎中国籍优秀青年博士申请，录取结果将基于候选人个人学术背景及学校经费安排等综合考量。

As part of a collaborative project to promote the study of Asia in China, the Center for Global Asia at NYU Shanghai and the Asia Research Center at Fudan University are jointly offering a position of Postdoctoral Fellow, which is open to outstanding researchers holding PRC citizenship. The selection process will be based on academic merit and necessary budgetary approvals.

一、研究方向与职位说明 Research focus and position description

研究方向：“历史上的中国和亚洲”，研究时限为1949年以前。

工作语言：中文和英文

职位说明：该职位为上海纽约大学环球亚洲研究中心博士后研究员（Postdoctoral Fellow），同时为复旦大学亚洲研究中心特约青年研究员。聘期为一年，从2023年9月1日开始，视任期表现可考虑延至两年。

Research area: China's Asian Connections prior to 1949

Working language: English and Chinese

Position description: The person will have the title of “Postdoctoral Fellow” at Center for Global Asia at NYU Shanghai, and concurrently hold the title of “Junior Research Fellow” at the Asia Research Center at Fudan University. The fellowship starts on September 1, 2023 for a period of up to one year, with the possibility of an extension for a second year.

二、申请条件 Eligibility

中华人民共和国国籍，年龄不超过40周岁，具有国内外知名大学人文社会科学专业博士学位（已获得博士学位或在2023年8月15日前毕业并获得学位的应届毕业生)，已发表有相关学术成果。优先考虑英语水平较好、有海外学习经历的优秀青年学者。

Qualified applicants should be a citizen of China and below the age of 40 years. She/he should have received a doctoral degree from a reputable university in the field of humanities and social science before August 15, 2023. Publication in relevant field is desirable. Preference will be given to those who are fluent in English and have study-abroad experience.

三、应聘材料和方式 Application materials and process

应聘所需材料包括：

1、个人详细简历，中英文各一份；

2、个人代表学术成果1-2份（论文请发全文电子版）；

3、推荐信两封。推荐信由毕业学校导师或其他熟悉申请人情况的学者撰写，使用中英文皆可。应聘者需在申请页面填写至少两位推荐人的姓名及邮箱地址。推荐人收到通知后可通过Interfolio平台上传推荐信。

四、支持条件和工作要求 Benefits and expectation

上海纽约大学环球亚洲研究中心和复旦大学亚洲研究中心将为博士后研究员提供办公设施、住宿和具有竞争力的薪酬待遇。研究员在一年聘期内需至少递交两篇学术论文或一本书稿用于发表。研究员在完成自身科研工作同时，需承担两方合作项目的相关工作，包括并不仅限于集刊编辑出版、会议组织等。

The Center for Global Asia at NYU Shanghai and the Asia Research Center at Fudan University will jointly provide office facilities, accommodation and competitive stipend package to the postdoctoral fellow. The fellow should prepare and submit at least two academic articles or a book manuscript for publication during the fellowship period. In addition to research, the fellow will also be expected to assist in the collaborative activities between the two research institutions, including but not limited to editing newsletter and organizing conferences and workshops.
