Description:

These laboratories are founded by the department of Plastic& Reconstructive Surgery at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, a world-renowned center for plastic surgery education, practice and research. It is ranked No.1 for recent 12 consecutive years in China. Equipped with the largest domestic biobanks for rare diseases, these new department laboratories are expected to perform world leading original studies in the following fields:

1.Regenerative medicine, including stem cell biology, developmental biology, and regenerative biomedical engineering.

2.Tumor biology, including melanoma, squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma; hemangioma, neurofibromatosis or other benign tumors.

3.Congenital anomalies, including vascular or lymphatic malformation, craniofacial, urogenital malformation, hand deformity, adipose and hair abnormalities.

The candidates are expected to closely collaborate with clinical faculties and staff to make fundamental breakthroughs in basic and translational research.

Eligibility:

1.Age: under 45 years old (born after January 1, 1976).

2.Candidates with post-doctorate experience, have been engaged in research work for more than 36 consecutive months in world-class universities or research institutions (equivalent to the requirements for applying young outstanding national talent plan) are preferred.

3.Preferred research background: Molecular and Cell Biology, Stem Cell

and Regenerative Medicine, Oncology, Precision Medicine, Biomaterials, Digital/Biomedical Engineering, Developmental Biology, etc.

4.Published impactful research articles on nature index journals as the first or corresponding author.

5.The candidates are supposed to be physically and mentally healthy with good communication skills.

Responsibility:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1.To perform pioneering research work in the field.

2.To guide and participate in the training of graduate students. 3.To collaborate with clinical faculties in the development of the department and laboratory.
