The School of Earth Science and Resources at Chang’An University is looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) to work on a project characterizing the genesis of Cu–Pd sulfide mineralization in the alkaline Geordie Lake magmatic sulfide deposit located in the Midcontinent Rift (Canada). Although the PDF will be primarily supervised by Dr. Matthew Brzozowski, they will have the opportunity to interact with leaders in the field of critical metals research, as well as a vibrant group of graduate researchers focusing on a diversity of critical metal systems in China and Canada. The ideal candidate will be a recent PhD graduate with knowledge of magmatic–hydrothermal deposits and have experience working with metal stable isotopes. The candidate should be comfortable communicating in English as this is the working language of the research group. While the described project will be the primary focus of the PDF, we welcome ideas for additional projects to support the PDF in developing their research foundation.

二、岗位描述

围绕加拿大中大陆裂谷地区乔迪湖碱性岩浆硫化物矿床中铜-钯硫化物开展系统深入的研究工作。与典型的岩浆硫化物矿床相比，该赋存于碱性辉长岩侵入体中而非钙碱性超基性岩，其铜和钯含量高度富集，硫化物以黄铜矿和斑铜矿为主，磁黄铁矿和镍黄铁矿少见。因此，该项目将基于目前对中大陆裂谷Cu-PGE矿化的研究基础，通过硫化物微量元素化学、非传统金属稳定同位素（如铁、铜）和硫同位素等手段，解决矿床的成因问题。项目资金充裕，并有额外基金支持后续工作。

博士后由Matthew Brzozowski主要负责指导，同时将有机会与关键金属研究领域的知名专家合作，包括吴昌志教授、雷如雄教授、Peter Hollings博士和David Good博士，并与中国和加拿大关键金属领域的研究生共事。

2、近3年内在国内、外获得博士学位，或者即将毕业的博士研究生（须通过博士毕业论文答辩，并且需要学校出具半年内可以取得博士学位证明）。

3、能熟练使用英语开展学术交流（英语为项目组工作语言）。

4、要求具备岩浆热液矿床相关知识，具有金属稳定同位素研究经历者优先。

5、未来研究计划思路清晰，欢迎提出符合矿床学发展的其他项目构想，开展合作研究。
